I’m oddly looking forward to the release of Ubuntu Lucid Lynx. With 2 of my 3 main computers running Ubuntu now it should be interesting.

Ok, I guess that post could be less than obvious to those not using Linux. Ubuntu is a popular and very nice distribution of the Linux operating system. I still keep a Windows desktop around for the odd thing but my primary OS has been Linux for a couple years now.
The installation CD is what is known as a “live cd” meaning you can boot your computer from it without changing anything on your hard drive if you want to check it out. As with all Linux, it’s free to download.
