I ran across an amusing site called “There, I Fixed It – Epic Kludges + Jury Rigs.” It has a photo record of humorous and sometimes cringe-worthy solutions people come up with when they just don’t have the tools (or brains) for the job. In addition, there are links to other fun sites with different themes at the bottom of the pages. This is going to waste a lot of your time.

Another guy with time on his hands playing with old hardware.Â Live demo of 1960′s 300 baud acoustic modem being used to connect to the internet.Â Interestingly enough, I worked at a company that had a 1200 baud acoustic modem still in daily use in 2000 (the same company also had a 286 computer still in production.)
